Absorption Heat Pumps decrease CO2 atmospheric emission

The possibilities of implementation and the benefits from installing of the Absorption Heat Pump system powered by a build-in gas burner in the industrial site were analyzed. The analysis was performed based on real operational data from 2020 in terms of heat demand, available parameters of the low source and utility costs. Specific technical devices were also selected and the costs of their installation and integration into the production system were estimated. The basis of the benefits of the implementation is the recovery of low-temperature heat, which so far has been dissipated in the atmosphere, and its conversion into useful heat for the production of hot water used in the production technology. The environmental and financial benefits of greenhouse gasses emissions reduction were also analyzed.
